Two Images with Sheep The native people really used the rocks like a canvas. This rock was
probably felt to have immense power, it was used again and again.
These images move me a lot. I remember one night between waking and sleep these two images came to me, and said, “We’re next.” I have thousands and thousands of fine slides of rock art. I generally cannot print an image until it is my medicine or it lets me know it is ok to print it. This may sound strange to you – yet I deeply honor this. This image was next to Solar man in the first canyon at China Lake. |
