This is a very strong image for me. I feel it is very sacred, though I have given it a light title. The image does look like E.T. On his head could be ram horns curled around, or large seeing/Shamanic seeing. The crack in the rock again is significant to me.

There are atlatls in this scene, they are the lines coming up with what look like hooks on the top and usually a ball underneath. Atle-atles were spear throwers – a very powerful and accurate weapon, yet you had to stand to use the body’s leverage to use it. The bow and arrow replaced the atlatl and was more effective because you could hide behind rocks, etc. In rock art you can see the spread of the bow and arrow from the north coming south.
