Entering the Spirit World The large hoops beside the head could represent ear bobs, like earrings
that they put into their ears.
In many of the petroglyph panels at China Lake there are crystal flakes in the images. This baffles the anthropologists and archeologists, since crystal is too soft to actually carve the image into basalt rock. I believe the Shaman would come back over time and re-honor or re-energize the images by retracing them with crystal. |
