Ghanaskidi

Ghanaskidi is the Yei (Deity) wearing sheep horns. His hump is filled with corn seeds, mist, and rainbow, and has radiant eagle feathers surrounding the hump. He is also carrying a staff that is a corn planter.

He probably has his roots in Kokopelli, the hump back flute player and trickster. Ghanaskidi resembles the paintings that are still used in the Nightway Chant, a healing ceremony that is performed to restore a sense of harmony and beauty.

Also in this image are many animal tracks: Bear, Deer, Coyote, Mountain Lion. The concentric circles may represent different levels/worlds, almost like a maze. The crack in the rock may be a place to “enter” or “exit” this rock.
